We are seeking a knowledgeable and experienced SAP BI Developer to create and manage BI solutions. The candidate will be responsible for translating business needs into technical specifications, designing, building, and deploying BI solutions. Proficiency in SAP Business Objects tools and SQL databases is required.
Responsibilities:
Analyze and understand business requirements
Design and develop reports and dashboards using SAP Business Objects tools
Ensure the integration of SAP Business Objects with other systems
Perform system analysis, design, and configuration in SAP Business Objects
Test the developed reports and dashboards to ensure they meet the business requirements
Maintain the SAP Business Objects platform by troubleshooting and solving technical issues
Work closely with stakeholders to gather requirements and ensure that the reports meet their needs
Participate in the upgrade and implementation of new versions of SAP Business Objects
Provide technical support and training to end-users
Document all aspects of the system for future maintenance and upgrades
Qualifications:
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Business, Engineering, Information Technology, or related field
Proficiency in SAP Business Objects tools and SQL databases
Strong understanding of data analysis, data management, and data visualization
Experience in designing, building, and deploying BI solutions

Job Description:
Collaborate with client users to understand business processes, gather technical requirements, evaluate proof of concepts, design, develop and support analytical solutions using Spotfire, SQL, Python, R, JS and HTML etc.
Partner with client architecture teams to ensure end-user reporting needs are met by the existing data warehouse platform.
Research, recommend, develop, train functional groups on reporting data discovery, data science solutions.
Responsible for developing and implementing the data models for assigned reports, dashboards and business intelligence applications including, but not limited to, gathering necessary data requirements, understanding presentation layer needs and developing the semantic layer, analytic views, virtualization layers, logical data models, working with the application DBA’ s to implement better physical data models and working with developers on solving challenging and difficult data and data performance issues.
Provides hands-on technical knowledge & leadership working with database developers, DBAs, architects, data quality analysts, and other teams as well as manages relationships within context of the individual role
Required Experience:
Requires Bachelor's Degree (prefer Masters degree) in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
End to end implementation experience in building analytical solutions using data visualization tools like Spotfire, Power BI, Python, R etc.
Strong TIBCO Spotfire experience (4+ Years)
Strong Teradata experience (4+ Years)

Complex Mappings: Develop complex mappings with various transformations and mapplets to load data into dimensions and fact tables.
ETL Analysis: Analyze ETL graphs and translate requirements from the Enterprise Data Warehouse (EDW).
Data Procedures: Design procedures for extracting data from multiple systems and loading it into the Data Warehousing system.
Data Loading: Utilize ETL processes to load data from different databases, flat files, and various sources into Oracle databases. Develop complex mappings with various transformations and mapplets to load data into dimensions and fact tables.
Performance Optimization: Fine-tune and optimize complex SQL queries to enhance system performance.
Error Handling: Implement quick error handling in code development to ensure data accuracy and reliability.
Data Quality: Identify data quality issues in source systems and document them for analysis and resolution.
Unit Testing: Actively participate in unit testing, defect analysis, and fixing to ensure data accuracy.
Qualifications:

Strong programming skills, particularly in SQL.
